Mory-tnte Mondial Express (Malaysia) Moves Custom-Tailored Pipes

Mory-tnte Mondial Express was looked upon to handle a very sophisticated and challenging job for one of Malaysia’s leading Centrifugal pipe fabricators.

The general requirement involved the delivery of some very high valued custom-tailored pipes for Saudi Kayan Petrochemical in the Middle East. Due to the long length of the pipes, some of which measured up to 47 feet, it was a challenging task to identify a suitable container vessel willing to accept this cargo underdeck to avoid sea water damage.

With a dateline set for delivery and no vessel space available, we then proposed to vacuum pack the high valued pipes and then to load it on to 8 x 40 Flat racks for transportation so the cargo could be safely protected and loaded on-deck. The client was a little skeptical at first, but then had the confidence that Mory-Tnte would deliver as promised. Mory-tnte took customer service one step further by stationing its personnel at shipper’s premises to personally assist them to carefully vacuum pack the pipes and to load and lash them onto the flat racks. The whole vacuum packing process and loading took about 2 days to complete under heavy downpour. Mory-Tnte’s project team was personally present at the wharf side to ensure that no damage took place during transfer of the flat racks from the yard onto the vessel. Both shipper and consignee were very happy and satisfied to have engaged Mory-Tnte’s expertise.
