Axis Shipping Brazil Dismantles & Ships 2 Big Caterpillar Units to Morocco

Cargo Description: 2 Units of used machines Wheel Loader Caterpillar 938H

Step 1:

We collected the cargos at the clients plant, on Sumaré, SP Brazil, which is approximately 150 km from Port Santos. Since both vehicles have excess length, width, and height, proper licenses were necessary to perform this inland transport safely.

Step 2:

Axis received the goods at our terminal in Santos to start the disassembly. We needed only four days to remove the cabin, wheels, boom, stick, and one more day to stuff all the cargo inside two 40 open-top containers. This procedure allowed us to meet the cargo deadline on time.  We obtained customs clearance in only one day, allowing everything to be done appropriately to transfer the cargo to the export terminal.

Step 3:

The vessel docked in Santos on 12/01. The boarding operation started 02/12 and ended on the same day in the late afternoon.

Step 4:

The vessel started transit to Tanger Med, with arrival expected on 12/14.

Step 5:

On 12/14, following the ETA forecast, the vessel arrived at Tanger Med port and started the discharge of our cargo. All necessary arrangements were aligned with our agent in Tanger Med. When the cargo was discharged, they were already able to release the customs and deliver the vehicles to the importer urgently due to the operational requirements at their site.

Once released, we kept following the status until delivery at the importers local site. Upon confirmation of clean delivery, it became another successful shipment conducted by Axis Shipping.
