Express Global Logistics (EXG) Successfully Executes Critical Breakbulk Shipment from India to UAE
The 2 Heavy Lift units, along with accessories packed in 6 general boxes, were moved using EXGs owned assets. The heavy lift baskets, measured 32 m (L) x 4.13 m (W) x 4.10 m (H) weighing 137 MT each.
The dimension and weight of the baskets, imposing abnormal turning radius with abnormal horizontal clearances rendered a rather unusual challenge. This was further compounded by the national lockdown and dynamic last mile dispatch schedule.
Despite the challenge of misaligned dispatch schedule leading to missing three vessel sailings, and clubbed with berthing restrictions at Hazira port, EXGs Chartering and Planning Team managed to sail-off the cargo with no additional costs to the Customer.
The Heavy Lifts along with accessories were safely delivered and handled at Hazira Port to the mutual satisfaction of the customer in line with EXGs Standards Of Performance.
