Paccon Logistics would like to inform fellow members about some issues that might impact shipments in and out of South Africa.
|
- Due to the upcoming municipal elections on 1st November, the government has announced that 1st November will be a national public holiday.
- Richards Bay, South Africa, has recently suffered two fires within various bulk conveyor systems and has issued the notice here. Although these are directly related to bulk handling facilities, there may be knock-on effects at adjacent multi-purpose terminals.
Please be aware that this may impact shipments you have planned and coordinate with your local partner accordingly.
