NEWSLETTER - DECEMBER 2021
|
|
|
Dear Members,
Here we are in December already and we hope you have all had a good year, despite the various obstacles in the markets. We know that project work varies greatly by country. Several members have told me they have had their best year ever for projects revenue in 2021, while others may be facing tougher markets. With some big shipping lines becoming more directly involved in forwarding (namely Maersk & CMA-CGM), working closely together in a strong network will be increasingly important in the future.
There is still a healthy demand from companies wishing to join our network. We have ten new Projects members since the last newsletter - all well-vetted for experience and professional capabilities (while rejecting double that number). Please review their information and help welcome them to the group.
As previously announced, we continue planning our next physical Projects conference May 13-15, 2022 in Amsterdam. While we expected to definitely confirm the meeting and open our conference website by now, we are holding off a little longer due to the latest Covid developments (again!). We are still booked for the Breakbulk Europe event May 17-19 in Rotterdam with a WCA Projects booth. Let’s hope all goes well for next May. We will send out more news as soon as possible so you may plan ahead as much as is practical.
As always, we welcome your suggestions, questions, company news, and case studies to share.
Please contact me directly for assistance.
Best regards,
Bruce Cutillo
General Manager
