Axis Shipping Brazil Ships Mining Structure Totaling 105 tons to Quebec, Canada
Step 1: We collected the cargos at client’s plant, which is aproximately 600 km from Santos Port. It was used a total of 05 trucks with special licences to transport.
Step 2: The goods were received at our terminal in Santos to make a survey report of all cargo, wash and place onto MAFI’s platforms. Since there were 34 units extremely heavy, it took almost a week to complete the survey report. Then, one more day to stuff all the cargo. This procedure allowed us to meet the cargo deadline on time. We obtained customs clearance in only one day, allowing everything to be properly done to transfer the cargo to the export terminal and load on vessel.
Step 3: Vessel docked in Santos and our cargo was ready to load in the cutoff date and time.
Step 4: Vessel started transit to Port of Houston, Texas.
Step 5: Vessel arrived at Houston port and started the discharge of our cargo. All necessary arrangments were previously aligned, so when cargo was discharged, they were already able to release the customs and arrange the vehicles to pick up the cargoes to start the road transit to Canada which is a 2,023 km journey.
It took 5 days to arrive at the Canada border. Once released to cross the border, cargoes were well delivered to importer in Canada and another special cargo project was successfully completed by Axis Shipping.
