NEWSLETTER - MARCH 2022

Dear Members,

There is never a dull moment in the forwarding industry! With Covid changing the landscape, major ocean carriers buying up forwarders, unstable freight rates and space availability issues, we now have the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the accompanying sanctions to deal with.

The project forwarding industry seems to continually find ways to keep moving forward. Having strong project partners has always been important, and now, more than ever, independent forwarders need to work more closely together to develop new business and compete with the competing carriers and MNC forwarders.

As I often mention – there is great potential among the group to provide sales leads to other members. If you are only handling up to port, or just the destination,  send sales lead information to the origin or destination side so other members can try to get in on the action, or for future account sales on the other side. Multiply that times 400+ Projects offices in the group and you can imagine the results.

The WCA Projects annual conference in Amsterdam
May 13-15 is a great way to get back to basics of finding new opportunities and strengthening relationships. Bring your sales leads to the conference! Registration opened 15 February and we already have a good group of attendees registered. If you are comfortable traveling again, now is the time to join us.

We will also have our Breakbulk Europe
booth in Rotterdam 17-19 May and have three sponsors so far – with one more spot open in the booth. For those of you attending Breakbulk, please visit our booth #2B70!

We hope to see you in Amsterdam & Rotterdam!

Please contact me with any questions, feedback, or assistance you may require.

Best regards,

Bruce Cutillo
